“Lest we forget – The Blackwell Colliery War Souvenir” is a remarkable record of 1,128 men employed in the A Winning, B Winning, Alfreton, Shirland and Sutton Collieries who fought in World War I.  135 of these men made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.  Trust members consider that this book has its own role to play in the Armistice Centenary Commemoration of 11th November 2018, to keep alive the memories of these men.  To this end it was decided to produce a limited number of 20 copies of the original.  These are now available to purchase at £20.00 per copy.
